How many different things can I work on at a time. Going to find out. Cover for a newish story. Though I really want to work on Hoodpunx but I need something easier. And to fall back in love with art and comics on a personal level. Going zo be fun to figure out how to screentone this effect.

Random print mistake. 😬 These things happen and it costs money and resources. Regular casting really costs. BUT Only making 25 to start. Realized I should print the head, hands, tail and knife first. Shoes could have been my regular batch of resin. 🤣 This is why I try not to rush. My logic goes out the window. Just will do the head next. I know I can make things sound easy but it ain't.

Must be fate because this is the first time I printed a figure and it came out without a fail. This is Toasty, 4" figure designed by @kellycampanile, sculpted by me. Kelly has named her Series "Far Out Figures from Hell" We will try to have a painted prototype soon. Gotta adjust some small details. I thought I'd have something to say but I just wanted to post a photo to prove I don't spend my days looking like an unkempt monster. Also I wouldn't even know where to start with filters so this is how I normally look. Yes I am in a good mood in this photo. Yes that's a Chas Ray photo behind me that is not framed. Blasphemous.

How to make logos with no AI. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Step 1: I don't draw animals often but needed to just get something close enough or else the process of realism will slow it down. So scribble until it looks like dog.

Step 2: Forget how to ink and keep fucking around until you mess with a red pen sitting on your desk. There's another set of drafts somewhere but whatever Red Pen Works

Step 3: Say fuck it to hand lettering and set up everything in photoshop with red sketch and print that shit back out after asking for minimum input other than required text for a Non-profit.

Step 4: Ink it in a miscellaneous piece of Bristol board that was on the floor for sole reason. Trace the lettering to avoid infringement.

Step 5: Realize you have to put screentone on it because you have to. A.I. actually hates half tone quite a lot. Used the first 3 pieces of scrap tone from the top of my used pile. Curse Excel blades for getting dull so fast.

Step 6: Scan and contrast in this totally legal copy of Photoshop CS6 using the same techniques you learned as a kid. Sometimes you wonder if this leaves a gateway into your computer for hackers but whatever Stroke in Layer styles is your friend. Convert into whatever file person needs.

I don't want negativity to drive my engagement, it's why I did not post this reel last week. Along with my ego fixating on me not looking good or put together. I look cute most days and I like this rant. I think one problem I have been having in this Brave New World is holding back, being polite to people I should really be telling to fuck off and pretending I don't give a fuck about something when I do. I absolutely give a fuck about many things or else such trite shit would not piss me off! I'm not that cool to pretend something does not affect me.
